vortex 2 soundcard

Sound does not work at all. When I try to install the drivers I get a Vortex Multifunction PCI Parent - service installation section in INF is invalid. Now I have tried using the disk that came with it and have download the lastest drivers from online and get the same thing. Do anyone have any suggestions to correct this problem? -- Retsailor

Have you tried installing the drivers through the 'Don't have disk' option when Vista asks you to install the driver(s)?

Hmmm, only thing I can think of at the moment is to look on the website for the drivers to see if they've got some beta Vista drivers out or something?

Highly unlikely you will find any functional drivers, Aureal went out of business several years ago.
